The Assign template helps admins distribute work effectively based on real team capacity and availability.

It provides a structured way to manage workload distribution while considering team member bandwidth and experience levels.

Setting Up

After selecting the ASSIGN template, the admin has to set the assignment's period and whether it's a sprint or lean session.

Then your team members join the session, they'll start by setting their availability for the upcoming work period.

Each member indicates how many hours they can commit, giving you a realistic view of team capacity.

Work Distribution

Before distributing work, ensure all items have story point estimates either from an align session or manually inputted in the assign session.

Your team members can then input their estimated completion time for tasks, helping you understand who might be best suited for specific work.

As the admin, you can then begin assigning work.
